About Arimatsu Shibori
Arimatsu shibori is a traditional Japanese textile dyeing technique with over 400 years of history, originating in the town of Arimatsu near Nagoya. Each piece is hand-tied and dyed using indigo, creating patterns that are unique to every item. The craft is recognized as a Japanese traditional craft and continues to be practiced by skilled artisans today.
